Comments :    As a former volunteer vet tech and the owner/trainer/handler of a few Certified CA Assistance Dogs, I take the selection of a new veterinarian, as well as all matters relating to my dogs' health extremely seriously. I have been very impressed by Dr. Darnell & all of the staff at Shelter Island Vet that I've thus far had the opportunity to work with. I shall be eternally grateful to everyone for giving my Service Dog, Joey, a bit of extra time together to begin to say our goodbyes. I'd also like to acknowledge Dr. Darnell for the way that she willingly spoke about payment arrangements w/me from the beginning. She did not refuse my dog care, nor did she condescend to me b/c I am "low-income".

Comments :    Thank you for introducing us to Misty. Liz and I also adopted her brother Rusty and we're happy to report they've adapted well to living safely indoors. Congratulations on your expanding practice, we look forward to visiting your new facility.
